Future Forward Youth Academy

Helping Young Adults Build Brighter Futures—One Step at a Time

The Future Forward Youth Academy is a no-cost GED® program designed for students ages 16 to 24 who live in Bulloch or Screven County. We combine academic instruction with real-life support to help you stay on track, graduate, and move forward with confidence.

 

  • Free GED® prep and official testing

  • 1-on-1 tutoring with a dedicated academic coach

  • Earn while you learn: Get $75 for each test part you pass (up to $300)

  • Transportation stipends to help you get to class

  • Childcare support while you're attending class

  • Career and college guidance to plan your next steps

  • Life skills workshops on topics like money, time management, and more

  • Graduation celebration to honor your achievement

To participate, students must:

  • Be 16–24 years old

  • Reside in Bulloch or Screven County

  • Have a strong desire to earn a GED®

  • Attend a mandatory information session

  • Commit to at least 10 hours of instruction per week

  • Maintain regular attendance and engagement

  • Meet monthly with a tutor or advisor

  • Attend at least one life skills workshop per month

  • Complete a career interest survey and transition plan

  • Follow the Student Code of Conduct and program guidelines

Classes are held Monday–Thursday and are offered in both Bulloch and Screven Counties. Schedules may vary by location.
