How much do classes cost?
Classes are offered at no cost to students.
What subjects are taught in GED®/HiSET® classes?
We provide instruction in Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies— the five
content areas of the GED® and HiSET® exams.
Can I take classes online?
Yes. We offer in-person, online, virtual, and hybrid learning options to meet your scheduling
needs

How do I register for Classes?
Complete our interest form here. A staff member will follow up with next steps.
What do I need to bring to orientation?
Bring a valid driver's license or government-issued photo ID. If you are under 18, you will also need:
- A withdrawal from your last school
- A signed underage youth application
- parent or gaurdian consent
How old do I have to be to take classes?
Students must be 16 or older to enroll. Students under 18 must meet additional requirements.
GED® & HiSET® Testing
Which test should I take—GED® & HiSET®?
Both are accepted in Georgia. Our staff can help you choose the option that best fits your needs.
Where can I take the test?
Testing is available at Ogeechee Technical College. Our staff will help you register and prepare.
Do I have to pay for the GED® or HiSET® Test?
Yes, but students enrolled in out program may qualify for scholarships or test vouchers to reduce or eliminate the cost.
Additional Support
Do you offer ESOL (English) classes?
Yes. Our English as a Second Language (ESOL) program is free and open to adult learners
seeking to improve their English speaking, reading, and writing skills.
Can you help me with job or college planning?
Absolutely. We offer career and college transition services to support your next steps after
earning your GED® or HiSET®.
