Meet the Faculty
Mrs. McCorkle had worked as an adjunct instructor for Ogeechee Tech for several years before becoming a full-time instructor in 2008. She teaches certificate, diploma and degree level classes.
Mrs. Clifton taught in the public school system for over 10 years. She holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education with a Reading Endorsement from Armstrong University. Mrs. Clifton has taught as a teacher in childcare, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 4th grade, and Reading Recovery with emphasis in Guided Reading, Early Intervention (EIP), ESOL, and Interventionist. Mrs. Clifton teaches with a commitment to creating a rich, multimedia environment through integrated and meaningful real-world application to develop effective learning practices.

Program Purpose Statement
The purpose of the Early Childhood Care & Education program is to provide educational opportunities to individuals that will enable them to obtain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to succeed in the field of Early Childhood Care & Education.
